By the time you cancel their service make sure you call ahead of time to clarify termination fees. Even with that they can still randomly charge you in the range of ~$200 even if you fulfill the term and should be fee free. Last time I had to involve www.bbb.org to resolve the issue. What a pain!
Anonymous
Agree with all the comments about the nightmares. If you switch your service and order devices from their website, there is a chance that they will cancel your order for no reason and call back the devices from UPS. At the same time you still get the first month bill without any discounts and include the device activation fees. Next, you will be trapped in the endless calls and hassles. Each customer representative will tell you things completely different. Such a scam!

Yeah, I use google FI. 4 lines, total with taxes is 111. When I travel internationally, I upgrade to 180/month and it works in any country. When I come back, I can switch back in the app. No contracts. They occasionally have good discounts on galaxy S series phones, can get them for about 300, unlocked, just need to keep them on the service for 90 days to get the discount.
I seriously considered switching, had the cart built and was one click away, but it will cost more in the long run. //@Anonymous: ok, i just had a conversation with Verizon chat support online, they said the first month will be 440$, if you contact with them, they will drop to 320 without taxes, then 140$ without taxes for each month, also u will get 200$ for gift card. But, when i asked about the plan price (if the price increase during 36 months), they said "currently we don't have any price guarantee on it. but in case if there is any increase you will be officially informed via email before 60days.

36-month plan required, minimum $75/month with autopay! You end up paying $2700. Total By Verizon has similar plan for $40. You are like paying the phone for $1260! And you will pay more if it raise the plan fee in the next 2 years! Way too expansive!

Let's try to see things in another way. The best price you can get iphone 15 pro max on ebay used, unlocked is around 900. 36month of 40 is 36x40=1440.so total cost is 1440+900=2340. That is exactly $360 less of $2700. Now the concept is very clear: you spend $10 less each month, you only get a used phone and sub par service and vice vesa. //@anonymous: 36-month plan required, minimum $75/month with autopay! AT&T fiber is getting slower and slower. I got the 1000Mbps plan 4 years ago. It tested up to 900mbs/download and 700mbs upload. now 300mbs/download and 100mbs even with the latest modem from AT&T. Pretty reliable. only had 4 or 5 outages in last 4 years.

Thanks for the input. Looks like all service providers are like that, including my Tmobile home internet, start with super fast speed and either slowing down over the years or numerous outages without bringing down the price. //@Anonymous: AT&T fiber is getting slower and slower. New iPhone from Apple:
128 GB: $799
256 GB: $899
With 3% cash back if you have Apple Card the price difference is under $100 (as low as ~$73 for the 256 GB model).
Not worth buying open box unless you get a steeper price discount

I have frequently lost signal, not been able to have 5G connection, and seen battery drain ever since I switched to Pixel 7/7 Pro. My old Pixel 4a never had these problems. Pixel 7 and 8 use Samsung modems, which are known to have a lot of issues with various carriers. Even Samsung flagships use Qualcomm modems.
