I know right? Wonder why everything is crap and filled with ADs, because people don't value the work devs do to create apps and keep them running, but they'll pay $60 for a meal for two. Saw these for $600 on Craigslist yesterday. Yes, SIX hundred. I think I’ve seen them for less than $200 new before.

Not even a good comparison. Over time, this is cheaper, and you can use them more often because you don't have to go into the gym each time you want to lift. //@Anonymous: YMCA open every where.

Got these for about $220 at wallie world in 2018, and that was just the regular price back then. Best would be to have this and the 1090 set together but the 1090 doesn’t go on sale much even per-covid. //@anonymous: still hot items now, but price may fall back to the regular in near future as gyms are re-opening //@Anonymous: Saw these for $600 on Craigslist yesterday. these are very good dumbbells, but too big to do rows , they keep hitting my chest when I do rows, curls. If your home gym is big enough, get regular ones.
Anonymous
That's the thing. Most people don't have enough home gym space for a big set of regular dumbbells and other weight equipment. I barely have enough space in my gym for the bench press, the squat rack, the pull-up station and the deadlift platform. It would get pretty tight if I had to add a new rack for dumbbells too. //@Anonymous: these are very good dumbbells, but too big to do rows , they keep hitting my chest when I do rows, curls. Is there a benefit to this, now that StarLink offers satellite phone services from T-Mobile?
Anonymous
T-Satellite is free for now but will be $10 a month if you're not a tmobile customer.
Garmin plan is $15 a month plus the $250 you pay for this boring device, compare to using your smartphone.
But not sure if the Satellite reception you get on your phone is as good as a dedicated Garmin device. //@anonymous: Is there a benefit to this, now that StarLink offers satellite phone services from T-Mobile?

T Mobile uses Starlink to offer T-Satellite. You can use your current phone to connect to Starlink Satellites and the service is free for now. Even Verizon and AT&T customers can use it. If you don't want to pay $200 for this Garmin, T-Satellite is another option.
